Experience

Mr. Asherman has more than 35 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He began his career in 1979, serving in a variety of project operations, business development and senior management positions, including a number of regional executive positions in Europe, South America and Asia. In 2001, he joined CB&I as a senior executive in Amsterdam and was promoted to Executive Vice President that same year, reporting directly to the Chairman and CEO. Mr. Asherman was elected to his current position by the board of directors in February 2006 and was elected to the Supervisory Board of Directors in July 2006. He is a member of the Board of Overseers for The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University and serves as an advisor for the university's Center for Emerging Market Enterprises. He is also a member of the American Petroleum Institute and the National Petroleum Council. Mr. Asherman also serves as an independent director for the board of Arrow Electronics, and was elected to the National Safety Council’s board of directors in 2014.

Education

Following active duty in the United States Air Force from 1970 -1974, Mr. Asherman graduated with a bachelor's degree from the University of South Florida. He earned a master's degree from the Fletcher School at Tufts University, and has completed advanced management programs at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France, and the American Graduate School of International Management at the Thunderbird in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ronald A. Ballschmiede

Experience

Mr. Ballschmiede has 30 years of Big 4 accounting firm experience with global manufacturing and construction firms. Prior to joining CB&I, he was with Deloitte & Touche LLP, joining the firm as a partner in 2002. Previously, he had been with Arthur Andersen since 1977, becoming a partner in 1989. While with Andersen, Ballschmiede was the lead client service partner for CB&I from 1989 to 2002.

Education

He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Patrick K. Mullen

	Patrick K. Mullen is Executive Vice President and operating group President of Engineering, Construction and Maintenance. Mr. Mullen was named to this position in December 2013. He joined CB&I in 2007 through the company’s acquisition of Lummus Global, which he joined in 1998.</p>

Experience

Mr. Mullen has more than 25 years of experience in the energy infrastructure business. Prior to his current role, Mr. Mullen served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Development. He also previously held several positions at Lummus Technology, including Senior Vice President of Business Development and roles in technology sales, technology business group management and head of technology sales/marketing. Mr. Mullen has been involved in the refining and petrochemical technology business since 1986. He spent the first 12 years of his career at UOP, where he held various positions in research and development, technical service, technology sales and technology management. Mr. Mullen was named to Vectren Corp.’s board of directors in 2014.

Education

He holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Daniel M. McCarthy

	Daniel M. McCarthy is Executive Vice President and operating group President of Technology. Mr. McCarthy was named to this position in December 2011. Previously, he was President of Technology since 2009. Mr. McCarthy joined the company in November 2007 as part of the acquisition of Lummus Global.</p>

Experience

Mr. McCarthy has more than 37 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. He joined Lummus in 1974 as a process engineer and was involved in the design of first-of-a-kind plants for the pharmaceutical and inorganic chemical industries. After leading a number of design teams on styrenics projects, he moved into a process licensing role. From 1980 to 1990 he held various product and regional (Far East) marketing leadership positions. From 1990 to the present he has held various general management positions in the Lummus Technology business. In 2006 and 2007 he was responsible for the Lummus Houston EPC Execution Center.

Education

He holds bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from Manhattan College. He also earned a master's degree in business administration from Pace University.

Luke V. Scorsone

	Luke V. Scorsone is Executive Vice President and operating group President of Fabrication Services.  Mr. Scorsone was named to this position in February 2013.  He joined CB&I in 2001 through the acquisition of PDM where he served as President of the Industrial business unit.</p>

Mr. Scorsone has 34 years of experience in engineering, fabrication and construction of refining, LNG, and gas processing facilities.  Prior to his current role, he served as President of the company’s Steel Plate Structures business.  He has held a wide range of roles at CB&I including Group Vice President Upstream Operations; Group Vice President of USA Operations and President of CB&I Howe Baker.

He holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in civil engineering from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

E. Chip Ray

	E. Chip Ray is Executive Vice President and operating group President of Environmental Solutions.  Mr. Ray was named to this position in February 2013.   He joined the Company in 2003 as Vice President, Global Marketing.</p>

Prior to his current role, he served as Executive Vice President, Corporate Planning from September 2007. Before joining CB&I, he worked as Executive Director of Strategy and Marketing for Fluor Corporation.  Before joining Fluor, he spent 13 years with Nalco Chemical Company.

He holds a bachelor's degree in  chemistry from St. John’s University in Minnesota and a master's degree in business administration from Duke University.

Experience

Mr. Chandler has been licensed to practice law for more than 30 years and has extensive experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, antitrust and international business transactions. Prior to joining CB&I, he served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Smith International, Inc. since 2005, where he was responsible for developing and managing the company’s international legal strategy, including the design and implementation of its legal compliance program. From 1986 to 2005, he served as Vice President & General Counsel of M-I/SWACO, a leading supplier of engineered drilling fluid systems and drilling waste management and environmental solutions.

Education

He holds a juris doctor degree from Loyola University College of Law in New Orleans and a bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati.

James W. Sabin

Prior to his current role, Mr. Sabin served as Senior Vice President of Global Systems and Senior President of Shaw’s Power Group. He previously held several senior leadership positions with increasing levels of responsibility within Shaw. Mr. Sabin has more than 30 years of project execution and information technology experience.
